HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices

Healing Nomad LLC
Effective Date: September 23, 2026

THIS NOTICE DESCRIBES HOW MEDICAL INFORMATION ABOUT YOU MAY BE USED AND DISCLOSED AND HOW YOU CAN GET ACCESS TO THIS INFORMATION. PLEASE REVIEW IT CAREFULLY.

1. Our Commitment to Your Health Data Security

At Healing Nomad LLC, we are committed to maintaining the absolute confidentiality, security, and integrity of your Protected Health Information (PHI). As an independent mobile health practice operating under professional standards in the State of Arizona, we are legally required by federal law (The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act - HIPAA) to maintain the privacy of your health records, provide you with this detailed notice of our legal duties, and strictly abide by the privacy practices currently in effect.

2. How We May Use & Disclose Your PHI

We may use and disclose your Protected Health Information for the following core clinical and operational purposes without requiring your explicit written authorization:

  • For Treatment: To deliver, coordinate, and clinically manage your mobile intravenous protocols, nutrient profiles, advanced oxidative therapies, and health evaluations. This includes sharing necessary data with our internal clinical staff, your primary care providers, or our contracted Medical Director infrastructure to review standing orders and guarantee client safety.
  • For Healthcare Operations: To perform essential operational audits, manage prescription inventory safely, implement quality-assurance protocols, and verify that our mobile concierge loops maintain the highest medical standards.
  • As Required by Law: We will disclose your health data when explicitly mandated by federal, state, or local public health and statutory safety laws.

3. Your Individual Health Data Rights

Under federal HIPAA regulations, you possess the following rights regarding the clinical and medical records we maintain:

  • Right to Access & Copy: You have the right to inspect and receive a secure electronic copy of your complete clinical charts, intake records, and billing statements.
  • Right to Amend: If you feel that the clinical history or health mapping records we maintain are incorrect or incomplete, you may request an administrative amendment.
  • Right to Request Restrictions: You may request that we limit how we utilize or share your PHI for treatment or operations. While we make every effort to honor reasonable requests, we are not legally bound to agree to a restriction if it compromises immediate clinical safety.
  • Right to Confidential Communications: You have the right to request that we communicate with you via specific mobile numbers, secure encrypted email channels, or private text screening pathways.

4. Data Breach Notifications & Administrative Complaints

In the highly unlikely event of an unencrypted data security breach that compromises your PHI, Healing Nomad LLC will notify you immediately in strict compliance with federal reporting timelines.

If you believe your privacy rights have been compromised or violated, you may file a formal administrative complaint directly with our Privacy Officer at info@healingnomad.com or with the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. No individual will ever experience retaliation or discrimination for filing a complaint.
